The  Office of the prime minister has delivered 121 heifers following the request by His Royal Majesty Olarker Philip Rauni III at his 9th coronation in 2019.

The king requested His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who was the guest of honor during the anniversary to restock his ranch in a bid to boost income and nutrition in the kingdom.

He also requested for 32 houses for chiefs, a mini bus, and vehicles for the king, land board among others and some of the requests have been delivered as others are still pending.

While handing over the heifers, Grace Kwiocwiny the minister for northern Uganda said she is happy that they have managed to fulfil this and she is looking forward to the remaining requests being fulfilled with time.  

She noted that among what the king requested, some items like tea, house vehicles and now the heifers have been delivered but for the houses of the chiefs, they should start discussing

Restocking had ended in 2019, but they managed to get 308 heifers for Zombo and the king received 133 and those who have received the heifers will be monitored to ensure that they create a positive impact on the beneficiaries.

Hon. Vincent Ochaya Orach the Prime Minister Alur Kingdom appreciates the government for the support given to the kingdom.

“I am optimistic that the requests will all be fulfilled and let the beneficiaries take care of the heifers so as to boost the health and also increase on household income” he said
